Hello there, Happy Easter.
I've been working on the site, don't you worry. I've mostly finished porting all of the data over to PHP, mostly because I feel I can't work with HTML alone anymore.
I did some cosmetic changes to the site, too. The most noticeable one is the sidebar, where I've condensed all some of the modules and gotten rid of others. Since this site will be changing in name and main goal very soon, I figured that I might change the layout to fit that vision.
Now that I'm done porting over to PHP, updates may be much easier to accomplish now that I've cleaned up the code and taken care of a few bugs. Another plus is that I won't have to sift through tons of code in order to create a new page and make it's links work with the rest of the site.

Now that I'm here and in open dialogue, I might as well talk about what my site will become. Now that my new nickname is ExcelKnight, the site's name will reflect that. What's more, this site will most likely benefit from this new name as it is a seldom used one to boot.
As of right now, Excelerated Games is my projected name. I'll see if it works out well with everyone later on.

Hey there, I know it's been a while since I've ever updated this news page, but I've been working behind the scenes quite a bit.
The first thing that comes to mind is my cleaning up of the CSS code and validation of the div tags on the site. Next up is the updates in broken code on the Star Wars 3 index page, I finally found my mistake after hours of code analysis. After that, I started development on Mega Man Battle Network 5's battle chips. I only have the Dark Chips up right now, but that will change very fast.
If you've visited this site ever since my last newspost, you'd have noticed that I now have a Google Pagead on the bottom left of the site. This is in an effort to save my host from being leeched of his bandwidth use.

As for the rest of the site, I've updated the whole site by doing my own sprite collecting from the games I've been covering, in an effort to minimize any and all disputes with other websites out there. I'll be working on a new layout when I get the time (this one is extremely bland, I know, but at least the core code validates) and on content when I get get back to Battle Network 5. I might also put up maps of the Liberation Missions, but that's all up in the air right now. I have to set my priorities straight before I do that, meaning I have to eliminate all dead links on the site (the link to my now-gone Forum, for starters) and I have to finish my MegaMan 1 & 5 guides. Tactics Ogre: The Knights of Lodis is on hold right now, until I can get far enough to make an inventory of all of the emblems in the game (meaning Finishing said game).

Happy Mother's Day! Yep, I do notice that this is the second year in a row that I update the site on this cute holiday, and yes, I notice that updates always pick up around this time of year before dying off in mid-June...
Now before anyone freaks out, I've got some very good news: The new site layout is now LIVE! This means I can finally take a break with the CSS coding of the site and work on the guides that I've been having a massive itch to complete and/or start up. Be on the lookout for the completion of those two Mega Man guides in the WIP panel. Plus, I'll be taking more screenshots for my Tactics Ogre: The Knights of Lodis guides (the Deneb guide will be up soon, too)

Now for those wondering about that Google Pageads I talked about a long time ago... Well, I'm finally able to legally register (I'm of legal age in my country now) and I can finally get some advertising on this site in order to start making some money off of my free site. Of course, this is mostly due to me wanting to financially aid my gracious host Prism27, but I also need some funding to give me more motivation in order to complete this site's content. With one section "complete" (RuneScape) and a few guides up, I need this new motivation badly. I'll update the site with more news about the PageAds soon.

Here's the latest news on my site development: I'm really busy. This is one of the few days I've been able to find in my schedule that I put into the site's reworking.
As most of you can see, I've reworked the site's main page. But in secret, I've been working out bugs with the rest of the site that's using this layout. I'm nearly done and everything will go live very soon. I hope you will all find the new site's layout and content more interesting than before!
For those of you wondering what happened to the lanceheart.prism27.co.uk URL, I've contacted my host and he seems to have found a bug with the DNS. Please bare with me...

On a side note, I'm well aware that I've burned through Easter. I kind of spent most of my time working on the site during that weekend, mostly fixing a fatal flaw in my CSS coding that would cause it to go on the fritz in either FireFox or Internet Explorer, but never at the same time.

Hello everyone. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Valentine's day... Oh, and to make sure I don't miss anything that's coming up, Happy Easter, Happy Mother's Day, Happy Father's Day, Happy Saint-Jean's Day, Happy Canada Day, Happy Independance Day, Happy Back-To-School, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving's Day, and finally Happy Christmas again.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I would like to say that this site has finally had over 3000 unique hits! In fact, at the time of this writing the site's sub-counter was at 3100.
As for other website news, I've barely worked on the site since I started college again. The reason? I've been busy doing some real programming (if you count VisualBasic.NET). BUT, I HAVE updated the site's design without reporting it on the site's news. Of course, some people don't know what I changed; meaning you've been here only once or you haven't been here in over a year. You may have noticed, however, that the sidebar's buttons don't seem to fit in with the rest of the site's layout. There is a rational reason for this: I've been trying to see if I can use some of my new Photoshop skills in order to upgrade the looks of this site. Result: I can, but not on this layout.
Yes, you've heard right, I'm changing the layout of the site. This time it won't be a cheap code change; I will change the WHOLE site's look, coding, and navigation. What that means is that I will be making the main site a "network" site, where all of my sub-projects have their respective sites and layouts. The game guides will be in their own site with their own layout, the games I'm programmming will be on their own site with a lighter layout, and so on. In fact, this will make navigation much more convenient, and each large sub-site of my network will have its own respective look and feel.

Now for those who want to know about the comic... (why some people like it is beyond me, but I'm happy that I've been able to put a smile on some faces) I will most likely keep my SlashHeart comic there as a post-mortem tribute. Instead, I will be making a brand new comic with new versions of SlashHeart, Gothann, LanceHeart, and more. If you want to know more, you'll have to wait until I complete my website overhaul.

That's all for now!
