The Ogre Battle series was the first of its kind to feature full-map movement Strategy combined with the difficulty enhancements of RPG style systems.
The Tactics Ogre series was the first of it's kind to feature isometric battle within a Strategy RPG, combined with many various character classes and monster races, a gaming style adopted by the infamous Final Fantasy Tactics series.
